Use your AR-15 as a hunting rifle for medium game such as deer or pronghorn antelope.  The Berger open tip tactical design has a G1 Ballistic Coefficient (BC) of .376 and is loaded to a muzzle velocity of 2,650 fps from an 18″ AR-15 barrel.  Available in a premium hard plastic slip-top box of 20 or bulk packaging of 20 or 60 rounds in a heavy duty 6 mil resealable clear bag.  This load is very similar to ammo supplied to USSOCOM.  It is very effective on mid-size game.
